Background
Steenenmuur’s previous website was outdated, visually unappealing, and lacked user-friendly functionality. Visitors struggled to navigate the site effectively, which impacted their overall experience and engagement. Additionally, the site was built on Joomla, limiting flexibility and ease of updates for the client.
The Solution
To address these issues, I designed and developed a brand-new website, transitioning from Joomla to WordPress for improved performance, usability, and scalability. The new site features a modern, clean design that enhances user experience while ensuring all content remains easily accessible.
Key enhancements include:
- A fully responsive design, ensuring seamless functionality across all devices.
- A custom countdown feature for the Wine Festival, creating excitement and anticipation for visitors.
- A user-friendly content management system where all elements can be updated by the client without technical expertise.
- Improved navigation and structure for a more intuitive browsing experience.
Ongoing Improvement
Steenenmuur is now part of my ‘Continuous Improvement’ program, meaning their website will continue to evolve with ongoing updates, optimizations, and enhancements as needed. This approach ensures the site remains modern, functional, and aligned with their goals over time.
